My Favorite Lamb Photos-I Love my Mom

Even in the sheep world--Moms are the greatest thing.  Lambs and Mom's don't get very far away from each other.  If you separate them even for a few minutes --there's a lot of loud complaining by Mom and baby.

This lamb is only a couple of days old in this photo.  He turned out to be beautiful after a few days--but this is a face only a Mom could love.

My Favorite Lamb Photos--No. 2

At our house, my husband says that lambing season is "the happiest part of the year."  These little guys are so soft, warm, and fuzzy--if you can catch them.  Baby Doll Sheep always look like they are smiling at you.

My favorite Lamb Photos

It's spring and that means lambs!  My husband and I have a farm and raise Babydoll sheep.  Just wanted to share a few of my favorites over the years.

The first photo is of Shelley--a ewe.  She was definitely one of the cutest.

Table for 3, Original Fine Art Digital Painting

This beautiful photo painting of three sheep having dinner out on the pasture is from of my digital painting series called Photo Watercolors. The sheep depicted are a breed of miniature sheep called Old English Southdown (Babydoll) sheep. They are considered an exotic breed and originated in England. They are characterized by their sweet teddy-bear faces and are between 18-24” tall when fully grown. Enlarging the view on this photograph will bring out the detail of the photo painting.
