Angel Flight, Original Abstract Angel Fine Art Photograph

On Mondays in March and April, I’m focusing on a new series of abstract photo art that I’ve been working on called Angels of Light. This particular piece is called “Angel Flight.” Angels are many times portrayed as symbols of hope. I hope that "Angel Flight" reminds you that hope comes at moments when you need it most.

“Angel Flight” is my personal favorite from this series. This piece show the beauty and fierce raw power that I believe Angels must have. This idea for this series came to me during the holidays. The light from the Christmas tree looked so beautiful on my collection of angel statutes—that I have to photograph them.
“Angel Flight” was photographed using a Canon camera and a lensbaby lens—a selective focus lens. I combined several exposures in Abode Photoshop to complete the image. The quote reads “Angels can fly directly into the heart of the matter.”

Prints of this artwork are for sell on etsy. http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=40985859 “Angel Flight” is signed and dated on the back. It’s not matted or framed. A professional lab prints the image on metallic paper. The watermark isn’t on the final print.
